Panasonic V+ volume codes

Help!

I've seen loads of codes on here for Panasonic TVs (mine's a 37PX80B) which seem to work for others, but not me...

It surely must work - it's one of the best selling TVs! Am I doing something wrong? Press vol+ and mute until it flashes twice, type in the code and it should work - straight away? After 2 minutes? After an hour?!

I have put in about 40 codes and none work. Virgin say it must be my TV, because it will "definitely work". The TV is 6 months old so seems unlikely.

Only had V+ two hours and have had enough of it already. Why didn't the installer do this...because he knew they didn't always work?!

Re: Panasonic V+ volume codes

Instructions - http://www.virginmedia.com/help/tv/v...trol-codes.php

Codes - http://www.virginmedia.com/help/docu...olumeCodes.pdf

Dont forget to add a zero to the code so for example if your code is 192 then it would be 0192.

Code's in the list for Panasonic are 004 005 011 033 062 175 187 191 200 202 242 274 290 302 309 310 so it should be one of them. I know one worked for me but cant remember which one it was I used.

Re: Panasonic V+ volume codes

A quick Google says 0005 is the right code for your TV.

The codes work as soon as you've entered the 4th digit. The LED flashes twice to confirm you've entered a valid code.

If 0005 doesn't work, you can find many more by selecting Home -> Help & Info -> Help with your remote control.

ps. Welcome to the forum!

Re: Panasonic V+ volume codes

Thanks - I've tried all those (and more) but nothing seems to work!

I'll leave it a while and have another go. I have got my TV remote, but the kids lose it on a regular basis...

Oh, and the remote has flashed twice to say it's a valid code on almost all of the Panasonic codes...and then does nothing!
