wireless connection blocked ?

Hi at home i am wirelss on my laptop (Toshiba A210) Vista Home Premium, however I can't get onto any other wireless network (i.e. now at my brothers trying to get online on his home network (BT) ) although again if i go in cabled it works no problem. So my question is does the virgin media wirelsss manager mess up my settings to be able to roam effectively and if it does how can i undo that.

Oh I should also add that the adaptor in laptop s realtek rtl8187b and apparently 'the device is working correctly'. I can see the networ and have the passwords but still can't connect.

Thnks,

Drew

virgin media wirelsss manager
Never used the thing myself but i`d sack it if i did.
Use your Wireless adapters own software(if they have any) or just use Windows own Wireless utility.

Somebody else might be able to help you out with this VWM thing but i`d still sack it.Even if i used Windows i wouldn`t thank you for any of Virgins own software.....>thinks back to BB medic<

Only one way to find out eh
If you do still encounter problems you could try un-installing the network adapter itself from device manager then rebooting to re-install the thing.
That alone can solve many an issue.
