Trouble (Formerly TCC) is closing!

Virgin Media Television formerly Flextech is closing Trouble! Trouble formerly TCC is one of the oldest pay-tv cable channels around and targets youth viewers, it will be replaced with Living +2. The channel will cease broadcasting on the 31st March 2009.

The programmes featured on Trouble are most likely to be broadcasted on Virgin 1.

The next likely channel to disappear would be Challenge TV,However I would think that Virgin Media would rebrand it to Virgin 2.

Virgin Media are also going to focus on the programming of Living 2 over the year.

I suppose they are trying to compete with Sky Real Lives, so far so good, the amount of crap that appears on Sky Real Lives is just criminal! And to top it off they have Sky Real Lives 2 with the same content and they even broadcast it in HD, Why would you want to watch Grimebusters or Airline in HD!

But seriously which channel does better?

Virgin Media's Living? Or Sky's Real Lives?

Living TV:

Americas Top Model
Jerry Springer
Maury
Most Haunted
Charmed
CSI
Ghost Whisperer

Sky Real Lives:

Grimebusters (Already Repeated on ITV1)
Airline (Already repeated on ITV1 and ITV2 several times)
Derek Acorah
Kims Rude Awakening
Sky Travel (Commercial broadcasts from Sky Travel channel to cover up the spaces because Sky has nothing to broadcast for us!!!)

Seriously... I can't believe you think they compete. Different leagues.

I'm not surprised Trouble is going, but Challenge does well enough.

Well i for one am rather pee'd off to say the least. I started watching trouble 11 years ago! it has all my favourites on it and I love the layout.

Thanks for a great channel.. and thanks for VM for yet again taking something away from us that we pay for.. Who the hell do they think they are, greedy [Mod Edit (Rob M)] Thats me cancelling my telly package, no point in paying for stuff I dont watch.

Its just me and 10meg now..

its nothing to do with virgin media hwy the channel has closed, but vmtv which is a serparet to virign medi ajust use the same brand name. the reason the channel is closing is becaus eof poor ratings. you do not pay for the channel you pay for tv service and its closing on sky to so how that virgins fault?

Meh, haven't watched Trouble since That 70s Show finished years ago. Although it's a shame it'll be replaced by a mere timeshift channel
