It is appropriate, and many of us are interested in this. Hence the number of posts!

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2009)

I bet it wont appear on VM because at the present time the rate card will cover that channel. Just as it does not cover the red button interactive sports. Ofcom will need to step in on that one unless they have disscussed this with sky before they gave them the go ahead for the channel.

---------- Post added at 19:07 ---------- Previous post was at 19:06 ----------

Sorry rate card will NOT cover that channel.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2009)

The chances of this happening, is totally zero. That was in 2004, there was big talk, l have a funny feeling that this could come as a HD channel, but wouldn't bank on it.

Doesn't Sky basically run Nat Geo? The play out part anyway?

Wouldn't they have a spare playout facility now that C4HD has moved to Red Bee?

expand on demand thats a laugh !!!
VM on demand although better than Sky`s is not updated that frequently and most of the time the updates are just extentions to air the same old programs that have ran out.

Re: Coming Soon to Virgin TV (2009)

I think that VM is starting to become a white elephant, they are promising customers, HD channels, and what happens, NOTHING.
