Exclamation Plasma TV / LCD (Best Options)

Hi Guys N gals,

My Dad is wanting a 50 inch Plasma TV, the one he has his eye on is Panasonic TH-50PZ80B

We tried to buy this off Amazon but Barclaycard decided to do a security check as it was £1024 and now it's out of stock.

This has left us with trying to find the same model at around that price. the reviews on this TV are good, and it seems a good model, all other attempts to find this at the 1K mark have failed.

Is there in anyones experience a model similar to this for the price or that exceeds this models specs? If so where can i get one online?

Failing that does anyone know if theres a place where i can get Panasonic TH-50PZ80B for around 1000 pound?

Any help on this appreciated, I know you guys know your tech stuff.

Cheers.

LG 50PG3000 50" 100Hz HD Ready Digital Plasma TV
£690.00
This only supports 720p by the looks of it

check out hotukdeals.com

50" are expensive will a 42" or a 47" not do?

Don't think you're going to get it that cheap now. Cheapest I can find including delivery is LASKS.com at £1099.99.

They are back in stock at Amazon, but the price has got up to £1,340.27.
Try foundem.co.uk their Price History graph shows the price starting to increase.

Re: Plasma TV / LCD (Best Options)

He's set on a 50 inch plasma, he's seen the panasonic in comet and plasma screens at 50 inch are apparently better than LCD of that size.

he's willing to spend up to £1100, the panasonic in comet is £1300, and i found it on Amazon at £1024, but we have missed that sale now thanks to barclaycard.

it doesn't have to be a panasonic so long as it's 50 inch, he's mad about his tv and movies

I stand corrected giantbuyer.com @ £ 1049. Nice spot Horace

the only other thing to try and get is a e-voucher code for the company you finally choose to buy from.

Re: Plasma TV / LCD (Best Options)

I normally search or ask on moneysavingexpert.com forum. I can't find any for Giantbuyer. If they don't answer the phone I wouldn't buy from them anyway. Have a Drive to Ecclesfield and pick the one up from Crampton and Moore's store for: £979.01

Re: Plasma TV / LCD (Best Options)

Pioneer make the best plasma's but you have to pay for it and Panasonic come a close 2nd so you wont go wrong with the quality build you have purchased
