Very highly recommended service.
Depends how picky you are i guess, my PC is hooked up to my 7.1 sound system, stream audio sounds like crap anyway.

Music is my life, i listen to it everyday...

It's like TV, it has adverts, i wont watch, simple as, rather download the x264

Re: Spotify

It uses the ogg Vorbis codec, -q5 setting (nominally 160kbit). Sounds about the same as any other competently compressed audio...

Nope ... I've seen BBC iPlayer do that for the first 5 seconds or so of a programme but I've never experienced it with Spotify. Using it now, absolutely fine.

No issues at all on Spotify and I love it. Been using it ever day since it came out of closed beta.

Re: Spotify now open to all in the UK

Is "Unfortunately some artists have opted not to be added to Spotify at this time, some frequently requested artists that are not in Spotify include Metallica, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, ACDC and Led Zeppelin, etc. " still an issue with spotify?

Re: Spotify now open to all in the UK

The closest you'll get to Beatles tracks on Spotify (or any streaming or digital d/l service) are re-recordings that McCartney's done for his compilation albums.
