Not really, they went at it in fairness, but dropping to 10 just inflated them for the rest of the half, it would have just been a question of time till they got tired playing at that pace. Plus you then have Berbatov on his own up front, and that isn't his game at all.
Second half was all UTD, played some great stuff at times and really should have grabbed at least a goal. As far as I could tell it was when not would we score.
Then you go to 9 and that is that. Sucker punch. Was bound to happen as time runs out.

Re: Football : Season 08/09
I've just seen Rooney's red card, I didn't realise you can get booked for throwing the ball to your team mate, for a free kick awarded to your team, ridiculous decision if you ask me, yes he threw is quickly but being two goals down i doubt he was trying to throw the ball away to waste time. Looks like the ref's just trying to get his name in the papers again.

Re: Football : Season 08/09
Well, you don't throw the ball in dissent when you get awarded a freekick, so it's frustration at best? It's not a Yellow offence if not done to waste time or done to show disgust at a Ref decision. Who knows, it's Rooney at the end of the day, easy target.

I think now is the time for you to sit back and cry over your loss yesterday. Today is our day
