Sky HD connection

i have a Denon amp surround sound system and Tuner located under the stair in my hallway with sky + currently connected through this. My Plasma Tv is in the living room on my wall , with the cabling for the whole surround system having been run under the flooring of the hall into my living room (modern built house). I have just ordered Sky HD and wondering if it's going to be possible to view it now!! I am concerned as i believe the HDMI cable has to connect DIRECTLY from the Sky box to the TV ( I think?!). If this is the case , do i have to run the HDMI cable from the sky/denon amp under the floor to connect directly to the TV or is there another way around this? ( I am not sure if i will be able to get this HDMI cable between the TV and amp because of the flooring /wall cavities etc. Can anyone help? cheers
