Re: Monster Raving Looney Party
I remember years ago one of their manifesto pledges was to build a bridge to the falklands so that next time we could march there. Completely missed them at election time always made me laugh.

Re: Monster Raving Looney Party
I liked their policy at the last election to reduce class sizes by moving the desks closer together

They do have some serious points too...

I may be a Loony, but I'm not mad enough to want dangerous people walking free in the name of political correctness.
•Suspected terrorists should be held until proved safe.
•Sex offenders should be held in asylums until considered safe (if ever).
•Antisocial yobs can rot in prison if they can't be sociable.
Why don't decent citizens have a "Human Right" not to be assaulted, blown up or harassed, when the criminals can scream human rights if their handcuffs hurt?

Given the choices of party, why is it most of us feel compelled to vote in a favour of 1 of the top three parties? ok the MRLP prob isn't the way to go, but wouldn't we be messed up
Seriously though a smaller party might just be the ticket. One without belief of their own supremacy, might actually act for the electorate and not the other way around.....

I have always pledged myself to vote for the Loony party...but sadly they have never put up a candidate in my constituency.

Can't see that ever changing unless we have a popular uprising or something.
We're stuck with 3 (or is it 2?) party politics. People don't vote Lib Dem much because they feel they are "untested" but then if you never give them a chance then they will never be "tested". Catch 22 really. Perhaps we should have proportional representation? I don't vote because we never get a communist candidate.

Somehow I get the feeling that the labour conservative swapping is a lesson we're just not learning.... Do people suddenly panic at the ballot??
