EPG Update?

Anyone heard anything of a EPG update coming to V+ boxes? The menus in my opinion are really laggy! The normal Samsung V+ boxes are outstanding very snappy and quick!

Also I just think it could do with a clean up in general

Re: EPG Update?

Do you mean the normal Samsung V box. As the new V+ isnt properly released yet.

Depending on how things go with the trial of the new V+ there will probably be an update to the EPG to speed things up, as the new V+ is a lot faster.

Re: EPG Update?

Thought someone was saying a while back there might be a code drop at the end of the year after (some considerable time) the roll out of the new ones?

Do you know if the current EPG will get a complete makeover? When will we get the search function? There was a screengrab in one of VM's analyst presentation.

By 'screengrab' I think you mean 'mockup'.

Yeah what you said

Actually V+ EPG has a search function - it's just never worked

V+ is hopeless for browsing and only fit for programming recording if you already know where/when they're on

I still have to boot-up my Philps PVR if i want to find out what's on

Search by "name", search by genre
