yes but did they actually stat the names of the channels and what dates they will arrive.

CS say anything to anyone, you could ring up again and be told something different

Customer services will be the last to know about HD channels however Neil did annouce that more HD channels

I phoned VM CS and they say it is a promotional offer for XL TV customers in certain areas, so I suppose anybody in the Luton area on XL TV enjoy Disney Cinemagic while it lasts.

It would have been nice for VM marketing department to let customers know though

PS there was no promotional message when switching onto this channel

Well if you check the online TV guide- it does list Discovery HD...

It also lists sky hd channels its just a tv listings they jsut add all channels even though we dnt get them. chceck sky tv listigns or digiguife there normally got the lastest chnanel information.

you are quite right after reading you post, just out of interest i tried
again the young lady today said she did not know of any coming at
the momment , but they have got one bbc hd.

CS knows very very little the majority of the time they tell you anytihng to get you to stay or sign up. Retentions are even worse. But i will pull down all CS and retentions staff as there is some honest ones out there and they do give truthful informaiton ie informaiton that is available on there intranet. But HD will probally be a big annoucement in the press.

Did not the CEO anounce back in december last year that their would
be 3 or 4 hd channales on virgin media by the end of the first three months of 2009 well there are only 22 days left. wonder if it will turn out right what he said ????
tried chat fuction twice one saying i was a customer got told ring 150, the other time saying i was not a customer, and got told more that way told there where defantly some whould be on vm by the end of this month .(will have to wait and see). it is
funney the more helpfull they are when they think that they will be making a sale

CEO annoucing is sometihng different and since he said it then it true to the form that they are trying to add hd channels. but i doubt they will and they have about 50 days left i think there tv section 1st quarter end in april
