Newbie Needing Help. router not working along with modem

Hello everyone! I'm a new guy so don't shoot me if this is answered a hundred times a day.
The reason I registered is the following:
- I want to have a wireless connection to my PlayStation 3 to update my PES 2009. So... it seems as the router and modem don't go along, because my modem is working perfectly (although it in itself isn't perfect, oh yeah I do not write in English perfectly ) and my "Local Area Connection 2 status" screen shows that the router receives no Internet, so I believe hence the fact no Internet in the PlayStation. Can anyone tell me how do I solve this?
Thank You

Re: Newbie Needing Help. router not working along with modem

1.The signals on the router show:
-Power turned on
-Status flashing
-WAN turned on
-WLAN turned off
-5 local reserves turned off

2.No, it doesn't. The computer (modem is connected to it) doesn't receive router internet. Although the computer reckons a router is connected.
3. How do I find it out?

-It usually worked fine, but suddenly stopped working.

That is the start of your problem, WLAN = (W)ireless LAN. You also need to configure the wireless on both the router and Playstation 3.
