Power supply warranty and Aria.co.uk.

2 years ago i bought a Hiper Type R 580 Modular psu from www.aria.co.uk
it came with a 3 year rtb warranty.
Yesterday, it failed as in no power at all and the PC just turned off, i checked it with my Antec psu tested and nothing at all.
Tried to create an RMA on the Aria site and it tells me the psu is out of warranty!
Sent them an email about it but nothing back yet.
Anyone got any ideas about what i should do.
Cheers. Neil.

Not much you can do until they respond I suspect, possibly try contacting the manufacturers and see what they say.

No problem. Do you still have to send to Milton Keynes?

Yeah but i had to buy another as i need my pc, cost me £70 inc next day delivery though, and it`s not modular in the same way!
I can hopefully sell the new one and get maybe £30 or £40 back on it.
I bought this one https://www.aria.co.uk/Products/Comp...roductId=24513
It`s says its modular with the same type aviation style fittings as my type R but it`s not.

Re: Power supply warranty and Aria.co.uk.

personally i wont buy from aria anymore had a psu from there and it failed within 3 months, they could not repair and had non in stock and made me wait for a new one rather than exchange it for another product.

in the end it was good that they exchanged it as my dads failed a day before i got the new one, but there attitude stunk and was basically we will do what we want thats why i use overclockers and scan now.

I`ve used scan before and found them excellent.
