DNS problems ??

hi posting this for a friend who has problems connecting to VM with his wireless router but being on vista its showing the world sign bottom right

but firefox and IE wont let him see a website ??

is it purely a dns problem or something really simple he' doing wrong ??

any tips would be great cheersy

Hi, get a command prompt up and type nslookup if it shows a dns server then nothing wrong with dns server as it wont list it if there was, that eliminates 1 problem.

well i have his laptop sitting in front of me and zero connection problems, must be his router setup or settings

surely a reset should solve this problem ??
