There will be no schedule.. As this is brand new network hardware there are loads of issues in areas that are being built.. So they are just doing what they can as they can and launching the ones that come on line first.

Sweet, so we'll be seeing the 50Mbit upgraded to 5Mbit upstream then?
http://onewayinternet.blogspot.com/2...omparison.html suggests it's quite achievable over the cable network so presumably VM's fibre optic network will have no worries?

In my case I see 82-43-120-x.cable.ubr02.mort.blueyonder.co.uk - the bit before blueyonder.co.uk is where you'll see azte, or not.
The following probably have a bit more of a wait:
Staple Hill [Chapel]
Hawkfield
Nailsea
Bath
Trowbridge
Staverton
It's done a site at a time, and these are on their own hubsites, while azte / Aztec West serves Bristol and immediately surrounding.
|
Shame...im on Trowbridge. Suprised Staverton is in that list as being on its own hubsite...its a very small village just outside Trowbridge by a mile or so.

Re: 50Mb areas
Idea, yes, the answer's no. As I mentioned above hubsites are separate and as your info says Harrogate is a separate hubsite from Leeds.
Harrogate is a tiny hubsite, only 3 uBRs.

Doesn't mean that Staverton has a hubsite all to itself, just that there's a hubsite there. It might well serve a lot more than just Staverton.
Staverton hubsite appears to have 12 uBRs present so a fair guess that it serves quite a bit more than just that little village

Re: 50Mb areas
I'll wait my turn, I have honestly lost so much interest, given that we have not been told much about any schedule by Virgin Media.
But I'll still get it eventually. STM ftw!
