Eeeek, my grandad died a couple of week ago, my budgie died yesterday (day of grandad's funeral), my grandma is in hospital, and so is my uncle (went into a coma the other day) and some other people in our family are in hospital too. Sucks

Sorry to hear that Callumpy.
It's really annoying when everything goes wrong at the same time and it must feel like the end of the world. But it will get better. Hang in there. You can get through this and will get through it. It can take time, but it will get better.

if you want to cry then cry, no-one's going to judge you for it. well not on here anyway.

I've totally been there with depression, I just find it best to occupy myself with something other than my thoughts about me, why I wasted so many years of my life, etc. - my Dad died when I was little, and he was my motivation. Shortly after my nan died too. (Mum got really depressed and has since had ect - she can't remember a lot of stuff, including having the treatment - although it has to be said, it worked.) I flunked school, no-one pushed me, no-one cared that I was bunking lessons every day...

I am very lucky to have a job now, and a husband who knows how hard it is for me to actually get out of bed every day & get to and do my job (I'm antisocial, and though still depressed am not taking meds as we're trying to concieve - have pcos though), so is often with me at my job to support me. I have two cats, and my few friends don't live nearby so thank goodness for the internet. Unfortunately this often results in comfort eating - while working in a shop is not a good combination!

Anyway, sorry for rambling, I just wanted to tell you that things will get better. You will get through this, and there is no shame in crying. I still bawl sometimes especially when I really have to force myself to do something - like go to work, or go down town on a bus! Sometimes even for 'no reason'...

Its just got worse. Found out the girl who dumped me was with her ex the whole time.

This has really dropped me down again and I feel like **** again.
