Heres a question why is it acceptable to you for Israel to murder over 400 people 30% of which are women and children, in order to destroy a government they dont like?
|
Because that government has been firing rockets into Israel, which could easily be considered a cause for war. Normally this would be dismissed as the actions of a terrorist group but in this case it is the elected government, so what else are Israel to do? Just ignore it? Let them firing rockets into their towns, killing their civilians and do nothing?
I don't agree with Israel's reaction, but Hamas are not an innocent party here. They intentionally provoked the actions of Israel as a way to gain international support (which they have achieved).
If a government is firing missiles into another country, what do you think should be the outcome?
The only victims here are the Palestinians and the Israeli civilians (yes, they are people too)

Nope, The rockets have been going for a long time.
Anyway, I want a suggestion what Israel should do when an elected government are firing missiles into them?

Do you really think Hamas were firing rockets to gain international attention? They are fighting a war against a regime that has been trying to strangle their people for 18 months. The Israeli people are not to blame for this, it is the Zionist regime that controls it.

Stop stealing the Palestinian land, blockading gaza, depriving children of medication and food and talk with Hamas.

Yes, they are doing it for international attention and to gain support in their own countries. Believe it or not there are also Palestinians who do not like Hamas and Hizbollah for not attempting a peaceful course of action (which is the only path that stands a chance of working) but every time a school is bombed the number of dissenters diminish. Something Israel should remember.
If Hamas were not doing this as a method to gain support then why do they place strategically important locations next to Hospitals, Schools, and other locations that contain very emotional cases? They either hope they won't be attacked, basically using these people as a human shield, or they are hit in which case they have propaganda material.
Also, acceptable counties at war target military targets and attempt to reduce innocent deaths. Hamas, like all terrorist groups, attempt to kill innocent people with their rocket fire into cities.

They could start by looking at themselves and asking why hamas are doing what they are doing, or they can ignore that one and pour more petrol on the fire as they seem to be doing.
By the way, when the IRA tried to blow up downing street with a mortar bomb we didnt throw a blockade around ireland.
Our glorious government got into bed with the IRA and everything is now rosie.
Or maybe just leave them to fight it out?
One thing for sure both groups are not interested in peace so anyone looking for a solution forget it.

Hamas do not want to talk, they want to destroy Israel. The previous 'government' were more willing to talk but now they are gone. The amount of times that peace talks take place and fall over because groups like Hamas decided to fire missles into Israel should prove why this will not happen.
By the way, after the recent ceasefire ended, it was Hamas who resorted to firing missiles into cities before Israel did anything.

As opposed to former Generals deliberately sparking things off with inflamatory actions as a political move so they can end up as PM? The Israeli Military are just as disinterested about talking than the other side. The Israeli Military already has pretty much everything they want.

Oh yes, the previous government was willing to talk, so why has there been no solution for 60 years?

This is to all the supporters of Israel, dont forget, if Hezbollah decide to open up another front in this atrocity, this whole situation could spiral out of control, it could engulf the whole region, leaving huge consequences for us all.

It would be far more appropriate to direct that comment at the entities supplying Hamas and Hezbollah with armaments. Whether or not source is Damascus or Tehran that's where the finger is ultimately going to be pointed which suits the CIA. If they're not being fired then there's no precident to escalate the conflict.

They have a quantity of surplus BM21 artillery rockets which can be fired from the back of a truck, however: whatever is being fired the Israelis will use any excuse to use a sledgehammer to crack a nut and the CIA will use any shred of evidence to manipulate the situation as they see fit.

I am not sure on the rockets being used by Hamas, but the Lebanon war a couple of years ago was fought partly using weapons from Syria/Iran. Hizbollah of course.
