SonicSelector - free tracks

Only just moved onto the L broadband package (Sept) - and had 3 free downloads from SonicSelector for Sept & Oct.

However, there does not seem to be any for November. Is this just me?

Is it likely to be a problem with Virgin or SonicSelector?

Thanks for your thoughts.....

Use the Sonic Selector 'contact us' link at the bottom of the page, VM dont't support this and willl tell you to do this anyway.

Re: SonicSelector - free tracks

I had reason to contact them once as Vista had some problems accessing the service, they sent back some very unhelpful, irrelevant advice. They did reply though.

Re: SonicSelector - free tracks

Is it worth me calling Virgin or emailing sonicselector about not getting my free tracks?
Has anyone heard anything yet?

Must admit I gave up - tried emailing Virgin & SonicSelector without any joy. However, as I use ITunes & Ipod to be honest it was not that much use as I cannot load them onto my ipod.

Re: SonicSelector - free tracks

brung from a different forum Queried why they had stopped crediting the free music downloads through SonicSelector and got the following response:

"Thanks for your email to Virgin Media regarding free music download at
sonic selector.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused due to not receiving them in
November and this month.

Just so you know that in order to receive free prints via Photobox (you
do have to pay postage) you must log on to the Broadband Extras section
of the Customer Zone, then click on the link to Photobox and register
with Photobox using your Virgin Media e-mail address and password. Free
prints will then be automatically credited to your account."

Re: SonicSelector - free tracks

Thanks for the advice about Photobox. I had used them extensively before qualifying for Broadband Extras. Since then, I have never managed to get my quota of free prints so now I do not use them; Photobox have lost a good customer. (I did email Photobox about it once but did not get a meaningful reply.)

As I am not prepared to spend hours with hassle, I have to say I have never gained anything from Broadband Extra.

and credits, due to the recent change of NTL usernames. We are investigating
the issue and will come up with a solution in due course. Rest adssured that
you will not lose any money nor the licenses for the music you already
purchased from NTL Broadband Plus.

I mailed them again on the 2nd December to ask for an update but didn't get a reply. I still don't have my credits. I reckon it's 4 months' worth now.
