Question Using a linksys wrt54gs on ADSL

Hi I have a linksysy wrt54gs previously used on cable broadband now am with
bethere am trying to find away to use my wrt54gs on my ADSL broadband
is there away to do this anyone have tips are tricks to go around this

Nope, you need a new router with a built in ADSL modem I'm afraid.

ah, ive just bought a new modem for my connection on Be*

Ive got a DG834, but there are wireless versions like the DG834G and so on...

You should be able to use a DSL router without inbuilt modem on ADSL. You need to use the ADSL modem, supplied by your ISP, and your ADSL modem will need an ethernet port.

Connect your ADSL modem to the phone line, router WAN port (ethernet) to the ADSL modem, and then your router LAN ports to your computers. Power them all in succession. If you've previously done odd setup things with your router make sure you have done a factory reset.

Yes, the BeBox will work on Be*, but they are pretty rubbish routers.
