GPRS/GSM Cards

been having trouble getting my o2 dongle to do a direct dial-up via gprs/gsm (it did work for a while but no longer) so i can check some of my work sites out (sad i know that i do this in my own time sometimes).

so i got hold of a nokia d211 card off of fleabay, at a reasonable price of 99p. now for some reason neither the sim from my o2 broadband dongle or my o2 phone sim won't allow me to connect, but if i put in my t-mobile sim out of my work phone it works no probs.

has anyone any ideas? does anybody know if o2 mobile bb sims are locked to the dongles (mobile tech support is closed) and if that were the case why won't my phone sim work? because it's a pain in the ass taking the sim out of my work phone all the time.
