Am i getting overcharged?
Hello,
I've been on VM since the beginning previously with Telewest, i am paying £46.50 a month for the basic TV package, Phone and 10MB.
£46.50 seems a little steep for these packages, sure other people have been able to get XL TV, XL BB for less.
Would i be able to ring up and get prices lowered, free upgrade to XL BB?

for £56 p.m. you could have XL on all 3 services, the way then to stick to this would be not to ring mobile No's from your landline.

Re: Am i getting overcharged?
It's £27.00 for the 10Mb which includes the phone.
The TV is more or less free on the 40 channels, and £9 for the 90 channels.
I'd guess you should be paying no more than £30 for what you have.

Yea that's pretty much the package I'm on, I remember taking the free TV because we are on sky. the area we live in don't get good signal, especially when it rains hard.. so when it rains i swap over to VM TV. Phone is supposed to be free too, so basically I'm paying £20 a month for no reason.

Re: Am i getting overcharged?
I have the same bundle (L broadband, M TV, Phone line), and am paying as a new customer AFAIK no more than £27 a month for these. Virgin still haven't installed the phone line though! Should really get onto them!

Re: Am i getting overcharged?
For the same package you already have it's £27 here, and it's available to existing customers.
read the small print though as there's something about £5 extra. but even with that it comes to £32 a month.

There's that many bundles and special offers plastered all over that site. it's hard to understand anything. I'm sure they do it on purpose so you rip yourself off

Yeh, that's more or less what we're currently paying, not including phone calls, but then we try to call in the eve or weekends. Thought it would be an idea to just check. Cheers Gary L.
