V+ RF Output socket

As an NTLr for the past decade, I would be very grateful for help in winkling me out of the 20th Century. Next month I am having a V+ box installed in the Lounge, and a V box in the Dining Room.

1) Am I correct in assuming that the V+ box only plays back one programme at a time?
2) Does this appear at the RF Output socket as well as the others - or is the RF Output socket dedicated to the "live-viewing"tuner?
3) If the former, will it be possible to connect the V+ box RF Output socket, by coax, to the aerial socket of the Dining Room television, whilst the latter is connected to it's own V box by SCART?
4) Due to convolutions, the coax would be about 15 metres long - is this feasible, and is any particular type required?

My aim is, occasionally, to be able to watch recorded programmes in the Dining Room. They do not have to be as high quality as those direct from the V box.

Thanks.

Re: V+ RF Output socket

If you select HDMI or composite as your main connection, then RF is disabled, there would be a work around if you send a scart signal to a device such as a DVD or video recorder, then used that to send out a RF signal, but you wouldn't be able to see the menus.
Good luck.

Thanks for your Machiavellian contribution - I will give that some thought.
