Re: Football : Season 08/09
Its all confirmed now. Still in a bit of shock about it.
Don't know what to make of it yet, but it at least it will be a laugh. I look forward to his interviews.

After all Spuds went through to get Ramos, what a joke that club is.

Re: Football : Season 08/09
think the mistake that spurs made was sacking Jol.... he was a good manager and did keep them in the top 6 really.
its a shame for Pompey that Harry is leaving as he is a really good manager/tactician and bargain hunter.

Where was the clubs loyalty to him when they undermined him by appointing a director of football against his wishes? Oh and btw the club were only to glad to let Harry go
It was a lot of money - I think £5m, crazy money really. Pompey couldn't sell a player in the [transfer] window so we sell the manager."

Which makes him a hypocrite then, as he started his Portmouth career as Director of football. I wonder if that was against Graham Rix' wishes?

If Rix felt that strongly about it he could have resigned, you don't know what went on behind the scenes, perhaps Rix welcomed the appointment, it's up to you I guess but it might be an idea if you knew the facts before branding people a hypocrite

I don't think anyone has called him talentless. As for their success I think you've missed the point - while he is a very talented manager, would he have ended up there without Roman taking over in the first place?

Redknapp joined Portsmouth as director of football - FACT
Redknapp doesn't like being under a director of football - FACT
Seems to me, the bloke has a serious 'God' complex.
