Looked like quite a large number of buyers got caught out and asking the same questions, on various forums.

Goes to show you that some drives will only accept top quality disks.

It should be no problem for the company to actually provide a recover disk for the lappy, as a 36.50Euro charge ontop of buying the machine is a bit steep. I am sure in the past some ready built PC's came with a full recovery disk.
My oooooold TIME Pc came with a recovery disk (3 actually).

So did my fathers i bought him years ago. those recovery disks are worth their weight in gold, especially if you let the kids near the machine hahaha

Just makes you wonder, why if they could do it then, why do companies make you make your own or buy them. Plus all the hastle of getting you to do it, in the first place after spending lots on a new machine.
