Your downstream receive power is out of tolerance plus the age of the modem will be causing the problem so you do need to call Tech Support and explain the problem to them, they may book an engineer because of the downstream receive power level, I would if you spoke to me.

Re: Ambit 100 resetting

I used to have the ambit 100 modem several years ago before 10mb connection came out(originally got oit when the 150mb connection came out).

When the 10mb conection came out I upgraded and the modem kept re-booting every 5 minutes or so, I got intouch with virgin (ntl at the time) and someone came out and installed a new modem.

Get in touch with virgin and they should arrange for someone to come and install a new modem/send a new modem out to you.

Re: Ambit 100 resetting

I'm having problems with the ambit 100 too, I have a thread here.

http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/12...few-weeks.html

I have been phoning VM customer service, trying to explain the problem but it's like banging your head against a wall. They kept saying things like clear your cookies on internet explorer. I told them I don't even use that browser but they wouldn't listen.

These problems have been going on weeks now and I've have enough, I think it's time for me to call disconnections.

I hope you get your problem sorted daz215
