BT with Virgin

Not sure if this a silly question, but I have virgin phone line and broadband, can I change my phone line to a BT line and still keep the Virgin BB?

Re: BT with Virgin

Would be no problem, unlike ADSL which requires a BT phone line, virgin Cable BB does not depend on anything else, so yes you could give up the phone and get a BT line

Re: BT with Virgin

If the line was always a VM line, then you probably wont be able to keep the number. (unless this isn't the case any more).

Re: BT with Virgin

We use to be with BT a long time ago, and there is a Bt phone socket still there.

I ported my VM telephone number over to BT what you can't do is get free BB from talktalk on a telephone number that orignated from VM.
