Belkin N1 Vision Router

anyone got any comments about the Belkin N1 Vision and VM. Thinking of ditching newly purchased Linksys WRT160N in favour of this, unless anyone can recommend any other good router thats compatible with the 20MB XL VM service.

Re: Belkin N1 Vision Router

Bought one a couple of months ago to replace a Belkin G+MIMO router when Amazon were selling them for £80. No problems with it after updating to the latest firmware.

TBH the "vision" part of it is a bit gimmicky and apart from playing at the start hasn't been used since. If there is a big price differential between the N1 router and the N1 vision then you may be better with the plain N1 - I only got the vision due to the special deal by Amazon at the time.

Re: Belkin N1 Vision Router

The n1 vision will dump you outa games every 2 hrs when it ntp polls to update its internal clock. Current firmwares have no ability to shut this off there is a hidden admin page where you can list the running process's and use the kill command to terminate the ntp one.

If you can find in the uk the smc wgbr14-n is a better buy gigabit switch n wireless and a print server and way cheaper. Also belkins tech support never answer emails and the phone support is awfull
