Lost all services in Manchester?

My TV and broadband went off about 20 minutes ago. I'm posting from my laptop with Three mobile broadband.

I'm in Urmston, Manchester. Anyone else got problems, or is it just me?

Me too - Everything went off about 15 mins ago (Flixton). Got a mate on Church Road who's still ok though...

I notice from your info that you are both on 4Mbit, you never know your luck, maybe you are being upgraded. :-)

A friend just texted me, she lives around the corner and her electricity has failed - I wonder if they're related? Maybe the box for my internet runs from the same substation?

Re: Lost all services in Manchester?

Hi. My side of M41 is still Ok. I have just checked the newsgroups and VM status pages and nothing has been recorded so far with this outage. An earlier ticket raised about the same time yesterday has been closed. ...774575.

You might be best phoning in.

Those Linux distros have to be the most downloaded files on the whole of the net!

I don't know about other distributions, but virginmedia mirror the debian repositories, so you don't need to get them from a torrent.
