Duplicate songs in tracklisting

Not strictly gaming discussion but think it's in the right place?

360 hardwired to XP Pro machine and using Windows Media Connect.
When WMC has finished scanning, it lists all tracks in an album folder twice making it impossible to listen to an album without having to nudge it on none track per track.
Anyone have any idea how I can fix this?

TIA

Are you sure there aren't 2 copies on the computer?

Re: Duplicate songs in tracklisting

This any help?

One issue I've had recently with the music libraries on Xbox 360 are duplicates. I caused this by pointing to another network drive while inside of the Media Center UI on the Xbox 360 that has a copy of my music files, causing the Xbox library to see a duplicate of every track, messsing everything up. And I did this because I was trying to force the library on the Xbox 360 to fill in some of the missing music / album /art info. I shouldn't have done this. as I needed to re-set everything, and that what you can do by following these steps:

Damn and blast! I've mirrored a bloomin' drive!
lmao.. Thanks lads. I had thought of that (2 copies) but dismissed it right away as I knew there couldn't be two copies of 'every' MP3!
