Change of UBR

During the early hours I lost internet access, and a release/renew of the DHCP address of the WAP IP address on the router, has given me a new IP address. Not a problem, but I now have a complete new UBR allocated to me. Is this normal? (The 4Mb to 10Mb upgrade wasn't completed last night).

Re: Change of UBR

Our area has never suffered from any bandwidth problems, so this upgrade is very early.

It's a shame, as other areas could have benefitted from this upgrade due to poor bandwidth in those areas.

Re: Change of UBR

It might not be for bandwidth issues,it might just be for future upgrades or general upgrade work.

Re: Change of UBR

Since the upgrade this has solved the high modem activity reported on 12-Mar-2007(see http://www.cableforum.co.uk/board/12...-activity.html)
