Modem Event Log update failed

Hey guys,

I don't know if this is normal but it would seem my modem (Ambit 256) is attempting to update its firmware, but isn't having much luck. At least I assume it's the firmware, and not some of its values etc.

Below is the log. Incompatible SW file, im not 100% sure with what that is. I got this modem this time last week. it's working with no problems, but maybe it's just a regular update? Or maybe because it had factory firmware that that needs updating. Also note that Im on 4mb, so maybe something to do with my upgrade to 10mb which is due to happen in April.

Thanks in advance,
Mark

Two thoughts spring to mind. 1 .If it aint broke don't fix it.
2. A little knowledge is a dangerous thing .
On a more practical level, on another forum it was explained as all updates go to all modems. Only the ones needed work.
However, if it is working well, why mess with it?
