no i've just been on to the asus forum on there site and spoke to a few people there now have it stable at 3.0ghz with just the case fans

but it wont go past 3.0ghz i would need watercooling for that and cant be bothered with that anymore as i can run sli now with my cpu oc'd and it seems stable i guess i will find out throughout the day playing games
