All I can add mate is that I too have had to endure the nightmare of calling the sub-continent where the language barrier is terrible. In my case I found most people polite but not at all knowledgeable, and after saying "can you repeat that please" for the umpteenth time I began losing the will to live. Add to this the cost of 25pm and it truly is a awful experience.

Re: customer service

Cant really give you any advice really, except to make sure the speedtests you're using are reliable, dont be taking the readings straight off soeedtest websites or streams.
have you tried downloading from a big server, maybe download a game off virginmedia.com (you get alot of them free on XL broadband) or download a copy of intenet explorer 7 from microsofts website, see what your download speed is (kbps) and x by 8, should give you a reliable reading.
On the plus side though, the 25ppmin will be abolished in 2month, so thats a little bit of a comfort, at least you're not paying for the privilege lol :-)

Re: customer service

Here's some advice:

1. If you are getting more than 4Mb then you MUST be on the 20Mb service.

2. You can check your speed of connection on your modem log page (192.168.100.1).

3. Same advice as above - do not trust so-called speedtest sites. Download multiple files from a trusted site.
