I have a new Toshiba 26C3030 just connected to my old Pace Di1010T cable box originally supplied by Telewest (now Virgin) probably 10+ years ago. On Freeview I get a full width picture, but on cable I only get a square picture filling 2/3 of the screen. Any ideas?

Have you gone into the display settings on the STB and set the picture display option to Widescreen
