Re: Hillary Clinton - What are her chances?
Is America ready for a black president? It could light the touch paper of racial conflict.
Mind you, is America ready for a woman president? Would it be a powerful message, or embarrasing when vising countries where women are treated as second class citizens.
On the name front, Obama just doesn't sound presidential, on a poor line, it could end up sounding like "Osama".
Clinton, on the other hand, has an impeccable presidential pedigree.

Do bet on it, you'd get pretty good odds for a start. He is the only Republican that is electable, the public like him, he is a genuine war hero and he looks like all the other past presidents (old, white, nice suit etc)
and if that ain't enough for you he is just as popular in the polls as Clinton and Obama, according to a radio report I heard not so long ago

Yes, but unfortunately for him, the Evangelicals and NeoCons hate him, and he has been called (by members of his own party) a Liberal, and Ann Coulter said she would rather vote for Hillary than him. It will (imho) rip the Republicans apart (which is a shame, because I think out of all the Republicans, he is probably the best).

Re: Hillary Clinton - What are her chances?
If she gets in I'd have to assume that Bill would be pulling the strings in the background

One thing about having the first black, and first woman presidential candidates is that their race and gender is being pushed into the background compared to the genuine excitement they seem to be generating.
It's impressive that it is not making much of a difference. So come the general election I don't think the Democratic nominees differences in gender/color will be as important as people would have presumed a few years ago.
With Obama, the states in which it might be harder to elect a black president are most likely to be the center, more republican states anyway. The republicans are really disliked at the moment and pretty much all the democratic states are safe, most of the swing states will go to the Dems imo. California and Florida are likely to vote for a Black/Woman candidate so that will actually help them there..

Re: Hillary Clinton - What are her chances?
Getting back to the original question - I'd say if she's a good a liar as her husband she'll do very well.
Just in case anyone forgot:

According to Google there may have been other lies too........ Surely not

Meh, He seems to have been a good president. The overreaction to sex was stupid and mostly an attempt to remove him from Office.

Popular he was for sure but good??? That's a matter of opinion but in mine the 'good' presidents are just the ones who don't get caught too often......

That site you linked you, at least that page, is very biased. For example:

Obviously written by a angry conservative.
Edit: Checked the main site, appears to be someone angry at everything. All governments (unless they are not European or American) are evil. 9/11 was a conspiracy etc etc.

Damien being biased about something doesn't make you necessarily wrong does it? I mean the Democrats were biased in favour of Clinton weren't they? Is their take on his presidency any more valid? The quotes are in the article aren't they?
Yes it's human nature to make mistakes but does that make lying about those mistakes OK?
More mistakes?

Yes, but the context of the quotes and what they represent are important. You can make amazingly untrue statements without every having to utter a untrue word. You can take a quote out of context, you can add your own content, and you can neglate to mention over important facts.
So no, being biased does not make you wrong, but it does diminish your credibility. So you should always be very wary and distrustful of a biased source of information.

No, It's politics however and everything is spun, filtered, and organised for public perception.
Everyone is Washington is throwing mud at each other, and they all are guilty. It's not right but it is not unique to Clinton or any other politician. They all have to play the game to stay in it.
Look at the massive campaign that said the Clintons were responsible for someone’s death. Totally fictitious but it was a useful slur for his political opponents.
John Kerry voted for bills and then against them after the contents of the bill had changed (not uncommon), he admitted it and explained why he longer supported such bills. Yet, The Bush Campaign attacked him for 'flip-flopping' it was one of the most effective negative slurs against Kerry and people believed it, Kerry’s explanation was not given any real media time.
The truth can kill you in politics, the media and the public is too wrapped up in simple right/wrong good/bad issues and the complexities of a issue gets ignored in favour of public moral outage. Telling people you do not have all the answers, that you would like to do something but it’s difficult and complex, and that there is no magic fix for any issue is a sure-fire election loser.

Here are some of the things he did:
