dynamode c4-2 roter help with problems

i had to replace my d link 504t router as it died

i had it connected to the internet for my pc then my show center media streamer connected via my hardwire network

so i bought the above router and got the internet set up ok(1 minor problem)

but cant get my media streamer to sync with it

1 internet problem , when i used to check my comps stealth level on shields up it always passed 100% hidden, with the new router it fails as it responds to ping

cant find any way in the router web set up page to check firewall setttings, cant find how to update the firmware either to try to sort it

2. media streamer , which IP address do i enter in my media streamer to link it up

ive tired the one from my internet connection and nothing(10.0.0.3)
tired the lan one from the book10.0.0.2 nothing, tried the one that sheilds up identfys my pc as and nothing

3. set up cant find any advanced set up options on the web set up page am i missing somthing obvious

thanks for any help
