Re: 3 little......BANNED animals
Too me, the world has gone completely mad over the sceanrio of this religious thing, with Muslim, they are telling us what to do, we are being told, we cannot say little piggies, we cannot say gollywog (the name of a certain marmalade) in case it causes offence, l believe in todays newspapers, it states something, that is so supposed to be offensive to builders, for many years, we have work bantor, swear words, dirty mags,(we have heard stories where a Muslim worker, has taken offence to a naked woman INSIDE someones locker, and the worker has had to take it down, so why don't we, tomorrow go into work, and if you see ANYTHING, which is against YOUR religion, complain to management, and state that you are not prepared to work in the workplace until that item is taken down, if they can get away with it, so should we, that is why l say this country has gone totally mad, next they are going to say, we can't wear shoes and socks walking past them as it offends them

No they're not. This decision has been made apparently without consulting any of the people they're claiming will be offended.

Well it might need a bit of updating - it is quite old. The wolf not so much huffing and puffing but perhaps favouring a few pounds of weedkiller strapped to a young wolf, to blow the house down. And for the brick house, well the nasty DCI Wolf could fabricate evidence, obtain a search warrant, and kick the house door down - thus avoiding using the chimney.

For starters, many muslims were born here, so what about them?
Secondly, how is a muslim not doing something because it's against their religion infringing on anyone else's religious beliefs or culture? It's like I said about being teetotal and not going into pubs because thats where drunk people tend to be, how is my not going to pubs infringing pub goers ability to get drunk? Simple, it isn't, just as a muslim or jew not touching pork doesn't affect other's ability to touch pork.

Nice to see a post totally unencumbered by facts..........
btw, who are "they"?
What'll be happening next - Catholics expecting women to cover their heads at Mass? Will you be having a rant about that?

If I saw a naked woman inside a colleagues locker I'd be extremely worried too, most probably cause she'd be dead and probably folded in two.
Are you really blaming Muslims for the removal of semi naked women on calenders/posters in the workplace?
As has been said by another poster, nice to see the total absense of facts in your post.

EXCUSE ME!!!
Don't go tarring ALL of us with the same brush.I know many more teachers than you and they would be equally disgusted at anyone 'banning' a book for such a reason or for being labeled in this manner.
Oh and blaming all Muslims for the so called anti-PC rubbish printed in some of our rumour monger papers(I cannot dignify them with the term of newspaper) is absolutely moronic. The majority of BRITISH Muslims actually embrace our differences in culture and enjoy the cross over between the cultures.I would bet that many would read this story to their children without a second thought.
