Multi Room
I currently have the VM XL package. How much is it for an additional box in another room with the exact same package?
Thanks

Re: Multi Room
It's £9.50 a month. Or £5 a month if you have V+ in one of the rooms.

Re: Multi Room
The current box is not a V+ box. Would the second box be a V+ box and how much would installation and box cost? Cheers

The second box would be a standard box and you would pay £9.50 a month and I think installation is £30 but i'm not sure. If you wanted to upgrade to V+ in one of the rooms then it is £75 and £5 a month if you have XL or £10 a month if you have M or L

Re: Multi Room
Do you have any other services such as broadband or phone with Virgin? If so, may be worth looking at something like the VIP package.

Re: Multi Room
I'm also thinking of getting a box for my room, a standard box. Do I have to have it for a certain amount of time? i.e renewal of a 12 month contract? (I've been with Cable for about 15 months now)
Also, if anyone can confirm the installation cost of this, that would be great. £30 mentioned above seems reasonable enough

£30 installation, and an additional stb doesnt come with a new 12 month min, so you can cancel it when you like.

Re: Multi Room
Thanks for the reply.
I just got off the phone to VM, you're right it is £30 for installation, BUT you do have to have it for a minimum of 12 months, this is the only thing that bothers me, even though i'm probably 99.9% certain that I'll remain with VM for the next 12 months, I just hate being tied down to contracts
mulling it over... will probably go ahead with it eventually
EDIT:
Apologies, looks like there seems to be a lack of communication amongst the sales team, I called for a second time to actually go ahead with the additional box, and there is NO minimum 12 month contract. You just need to keep the additional box for at least 30 days, thats all
