Oh, what a pity it didn't arrive earlier! A bunch of us stayed in a hut in Crianlarich last w/e. Apparently, Scotland had the best snow in years the w/e before and the ski slopes and the roads were jammed so we took our skis along hoping to do a bit of touring. The weather had other ideas - it rained, and it rained, and it rained - and blew (60mph). On Friday we abandoned all hope of going up any mountains and just stuck to the West Highland Way. The pic shows us paddling along a tarmac bit. It's a long time since I got quite as wet as this. Fortunately, Saturday and Sunday were slightly better and we did manage to tick two Munros - although we were nearly blown off Stob Binnein.
