Xbox Live with Aol

Just bought my wireless adapter today to work with my wireless network at home.

Found my network ok automatically on the network setup part, and got my password thing entered fine.

I let the xbox search automatically for IP address etc, but everytime I go to test the live connection the IP address is failed.

I have tried using my ip address on the link http://help.aol.co.uk/getting-your-x...06081309990008 with option one being my network, but still no success.

Can someone please help me with this.

Had enough with it all. Took it back to game today, guy was very understanding.

Phoning Xbox helpline was a much use as an ashtray on a motorbike. Got most of my help through online forums like this, but it just didnt get to anything.

Shame...I heard live was superb.

You didn't connect at all then?

There has been a lot of problems with the xbox live service over the last fews days, think they are blaming it on outage, everyone and his dog bought/subscribed to xbox360 and xbox live it seems over Christmas.

Perhaps if you'd have given this forum a little bit more of a chance you would have gotten somewhere, there are some very knowledgeable individuals hiding behind the smirks and bad grins

IMO I'd forget wireless and find a way to get a wire in, much better. (IMO)
