Belkin f5d9230

This issue has been plaguing me now for a few days, if anyone could give me an hand, before i return this Router.

Equipment
1. Virgin Media 20Mb Via Scientific Atlanta, works fine directly connected to PC via patch lead.

2. Added a Belkin f5d9230-4 recently, pc connected directly and PS3 via Wifi. Now my WAN connection drops every 5 mins or so.

Having done some digging and have.
a. Assigned the router with a fixed Static IP address.
b. Assigned both PC and PS3 a fixed IP.
c. Assigned the PS3 IP to DMZ (Outside NAT firewall). Also turned of the firewall within the router.
d. Assigned the PS3 Mac address to allow access to the Wifi.
e. Allowed Port forwarding to the PSN. (not really needed as its DMZ).
f. Enabled UPNP.
g. Tried all the different wifi channels.

Yet still i loose connection on both the PC and PS3. Within the security log from the router there are
WAN Connection Disconnected => Thu Dec 27 13:20:18 2007

Can anyone help?

Re: Belkin f5d9230

You seem to have tried everything I would have suggested, but check you have set the router to clone the MAC address. I'd also forget the wireless connection until you can get the PC fixed connection stable.

It looks like a problem with the router. If a firmware update doesn't fix it then you'll have to get an exchange unit from Belkin.
