Netricity?

http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?...&criteria=Sale

The homeplug ADSL router looks interesting however I cannot seem to find out any more information on it.

Does anyone know who really makes it, or has anyone got one, googling netricity doesn't come up with anything useful..

Popped in the shop at had a look at the box apart from saying its a 85mbit/s homeplug turbo router with adsl2+ and 802.11g it doesn't really say much about what it can do in terms of router features (i.e does it support QOS.etc)

foxtrot_yankee is an unknown quantity at this point
Re: Netricity?

The company that makes it is LinkPro www.linkpro.com.tw

Can't tell you much about it but it seems kind of needless...

Is the homeplug certified catalog. Neither netricity nor linkpro feature in it. Make of it what you will...

Re: Netricity?

There is no need to buy a special router. It is easy enough to plug one of the outputs from your router into a homeplug device, making all the electric sockets in your home "internet ready".

I've got one of these

Best of both worlds, and less need to keep adding plugs.

The wireless lan signal strength is not the problem its the jitter and packet loss caused by bursts of interference that causes problems occasionally (which is why i use power line used to kill on internet games)
