Potential Email problem after modem upgrade

Hi, just realised I have a potential problem after going from a STB modem connection to a separate cable modem installation. Only realised afterwards that it seems to have set me up with as a new user with a new email address etc. I just checked and the old user setup still seems to work via Outlook express and it would be much easier to continue using the old email addresses. Are these likely to disappear in the near future ?
Any suggestions on whether I need to do something ?

Thanks
Brian V.

As you are still a Virgin customer, you should not lose the old e-mail addresses. I have done a similar thing from STB to modem, and am still using the old e-mail address.

In fact I have just checked some of my old dial up accounts, and they are still active also.

Re: Potential Email problem after modem upgrade

If you call tech support they'll be happy to merge your old email accounts (dial up, STB or whatever) into your new account. They can do the same with webspace too.

You should also get your phone call costs credited too.

Re: Potential Email problem after modem upgrade

Thanks for the replies . As long as the old accounts continue working I'm happy- I don't want to start using a new email address unless I have to. Rob - If I merge accounts does that mean I can forget the new email addresses ?
