Ipod classic can not turn off !

Hi all

Anyone come across this problem……†¦.

When I try and turn off my 80Gb classic by holding dwon the play pause key..... the screen showing battery full charged appears. It appears until the back light goes out and if I then move the ipod or touch it the back light comes on to light the battery charged screen.

Tried a reset but that has not worked !

Any ideas

Many thanks

Mike

Re: Ipod classic can not turn off !

Have you tried just leaving it on pause and locking it? It should turn off after a few minutes of inactivity. My iPod Nano often won't turn off holding down play/pause so I just do the above and its fine.

Re: Ipod classic can not turn off !

How new is this 'classic' if movement without touching the keys is causing this then you probably have a faulty unit.
