'Amplified extra high gain' is the critical information. That's the aerial type it's recommending, and to be honest it sounds like the aerial you have is not a million miles away from being the right one.

At this stage I think the best thing you can do is what you have just done anyway - get a professional in!

But the signal strength from Sandy Heath (only 11 miles away) is expected to be much greater than that from Crystal Palace (38 miles away). For this transmitter it recommends a group-E, log-periodic aerial and not a group-W, yagi which is what the OP has.

Get a professional!
