Looking for a new telly.
Keep going back to three;
Sony Bravia KDL-32U2000U
Toshiba 32C3030D
Samsung LE-32R87BDX
All available for around £450-£460 on net.
Can't seperate them. Anyone any experience/thoughts
Cheers.

I almost went for a Sony though, but decided against it as the spec for the more expensive Sony was almost the same as the Samsung.
There are lots out there to choose from.
LG are supposed to be good so I have heard, along with Panasonic and possibly Toshiba, just check the specs satisfy your requirements before purchasing, such as HDMI inputs.
Good Luck

Re: Which 32"
My brother has the Samsung and I have to say that the picture quality is astounding - very sharp and vibrant. Bravia TVs are good, but I think they're overpriced for the spec you get. Can't comment on the Toshiba.
I also think LGs are very good, lovely picture and the sound is quite impressive too (well, as impressive as it can be for an LCD).

Re: Which 32"
Can't go wrong with a Sammy, a Sony or a Panasonic.
Have heard good things about the LG too, but not spent any time watching any so can't comment.

Re: Which 32"
I have a 26" Samsung attached to my X360. Superb picture, can't fault it.
Samsung & Sony LCD panels are both made by the same joint venture and therefore there they should be almost identical apart from the Sony brand premium. ( Article)

Re: Which 32"
I am looking for a 40 one. Current Samsung (best picture) have problematic firmware:
Motion plus comes on without warning
jittering freeview
Samsung teams go around the houses upgrading the firmware.... Look at avforums for the correct firmware version

Re: Which 32"
My dads got a 32" toshiba and it is very good, although the new model is out now.
Ive just bought the new 40" Samsung and it is fantastic, just search around the internet for the settings for sky, virgin, freeview, ps3, xbox etc and the picture quality is much better than out of the box.

Re: Which 32"
The Sammy, honestly at 32" its one of the best picture quality TV's I've seen, and looks very nice too.
I've got the LE40M86 one, 1080p, and its bloody superb. My brother is a Sony fan, but he changed his mind when he saw my telly.

I have a 32" Sammy for my Xbox and had to do a fair bit of fiddling around with it to get the picture right (especially turning off the auto brightness) but once you do this it can't be faulted, beats the JVC in the lounge hands down.

Re: Which 32"
I have 2 sammys, the 37R87 & the 32M87 (100hz). There is judder on the freeview channels & its a problem samsung are aparrently dealing with. I use NTL boxes so I dont care, the freeview channels are only a backup anyway. My 37R8 cost £599.99 incl free delivery & free 5 year guarantee from J Lewis. If you can stretch to it, go for the 37". My 32M87 was a lot dearer. Super quality picture, average sound, excellent features.

Re: Which 32"
Of the three mentioned in the original post...
I think the Sony one is a "budget" Bravia. It's also a bit "old" now, having been around since last year. Has had good reviews, though.
The Samsung one is more recent. The R8 range is the successor to the R7 range (I bought an R7 at Christmas... few months later, the R7s were obsolete & the R8s were out at the same/less money! Oh well... still an excellent TV)
The R8s have three HDMI sockets (apart from the ones smaller than 32", which have two)... something definitely worth checking when looking for a new HD TV (one is not enough...I'll be needing an HDMI switcher when I get round to getting a PS3, or an X360 Elite, as my single socket is taken up by my Sky HD box).
The Samsungs always get excellent reviews.
Toshibas are also very good, although I don't know that model.
I still say Sammy
