belkin router password?

dandavis is an unknown quantity at this point
belkin router password?

can anyone help
Ive done something really stupid and have forgot my password for the belkin router settings.
I have contacted belikn but they have not replied..
I can not find any help on the belikn website about finding or resetting passwords.. does anyone know how I can reset or find out what password I have used.

There's usually a reset button on the back, but I don't know if this resets your username and password.

If you briefly press the reset button it will reset the router but not restore the factory settings or reset the password to default. You need to press & hold it for at least 10 seconds to do that...

That is correct. Just looked at the manual ( http://web.belkin.com/support/downlo...p?file_id=1818 ) and it does say that if you forget the password hold in the reset button for at least 5 seconds and that will return the router to the factory defaults
