Talking Toilets Set to hit the UK

OMG

What ever next, I was stuck on whether to put this in Humour LOL

Toilet tells users when to flush

A "talking toilet" which tells users when to press the flush is to hit the UK.

It contains a three-minute speech chip with a recorded set of instructions.

The recording could also be used for reminding people to wash their hands - or to play commercials and give details of special offers.

Say what?

Seriously. Telling people to wash their hands and play commercials? I can't see this becoming very popular...

Wonder if you will be able to programme it to give your own message? The polite version of the one I would use would be "Put the seat down".

or

Re: Talking Toilets Set to hit the UK

Those who don't already flush a toilet after using it are unlikely to take any notice of some voice they hear. It's all a bit gimicky but i suppose having a number 2 while listening to adverts puts you in the right place for most advertising. I remember when those automatic toilets came out and so many people made a point of going to the place that had them probably be the same for this fun for five mins then back to normal.

True, I remember one the lads going to one of those loo's which have a timer of 15 minutes for the door to open.
God knows what he was doing in there for that time but open came the doors and there he was sat on the loo for the rest of the cue to see.
