why put a 15metre cable between the hub and the filter?
Why not just use a normal phone extension, as long as you don't put it in the phone socket on a filter it should work.

Only problem is with an extension that long it may affect the speed your able to receive.

It's a shop the main phone line box is in the shop with an extention running up to the office with another phone on the same line, would the filter work from the extention?

He thought it might have to be fitted to the main box and not the extention?

Cheers

Each phone will need a filter connected to stop you hearing the DSL noise on the phone.

What type of extension you have? is it permanently wired in one or just a plugin in one, if its a plugin one just be sure not to plug in into the Phone side of the filter otherwise you'll filter the whole extension.

There's nothing to stop you plugging in for the main phone and another one into the extension and plug the broadband modem into the DSL side and the phone into the phone side.

Sorry if that's not a very clear explanation.

The broadband should work over an extension its just it might not work as fast as it would if it was connected to the master socket.
