Re: King Kong/PC World

PC world do this on their website all the time, for things they dont have. Add the item to basket and go to checkout and i bet when you put in your postcode that they are all out of stock. They done the same with a Philips HD tv as well, was showing at £799 when it was in stock. Then they "advertised" it at £299 an no-one could get one anywhere. I saved the link for the tv outta curiosity and now its showing at £97 which you and i both know will never come back into stock at that price.

but Dj, if you save that link then, and take it to them they should honour that price otherwise you can do them for false marketing

Re: King Kong/PC World

They would honour it, if they had the item in stock, the point is they dont have the items in, nor will they be getting them in, it's to get people onto the website, they find they cant buy that item so go looking for something else.

Re: King Kong/PC World

Out of curiosity I've tried this for Glasgow, Edinburgh, London, Manchester, Birmingham, Leicester and Newcastle.

All were showing out of stock for the three nearest stores to those locations.

I wonder if ANY stores have it in stock if booked online and if not if any have it for sale in the shop itself.
